Mr. Charles E. Dalton, age 74, of Hendersonville, TN, died Saturday, February 6, 2016.
A native of Rutherford County, TN, Mr. Dalton was a son of the late Robert M. and Annie Lou Hendrix Dalton. He was a retired fleet maintenance director with Humboldt Express.
Survived by his wife, Susie Dalton of Hendersonville; a daughter, Brenda Wingert of Hendersonville; a son, Benton Dalton of Hendersonville; a sister, Betty Rigsby of Eagleville; 3 brothers, Mickey Dalton of Shelbyville, Donnie Dalton of Shelbyville, Herschel “Buddy” Dalton of Foley, AL; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Rachel “Sis” Shelton.
Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, February 9, 2016 from 12 pm – 2 pm at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow visitation at 2 pm on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 from the Chapel of the Lawrence Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Elliott Cemetery near Chapel Hill, TN.
