Clarence Lamb

Mr. Clarence “Bull” Lamb, age 69, of Unionville, Tennessee, died Sunday, July 24, 2016 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Mr. Lamb was born in Bedford County and was a son of the late Ernest Gilbert and Elizabeth Jane Jacobs Lamb. He was retired from Empire Pencil Company of Shelbyville, Tennessee and was a member of Midland Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, June Pearcy, Nannie Hill and brother, Billy (Dick) Lamb.

Mr. Lamb is survived by wife, Mary Smotherman Lamb, Shelbyville, TN; his sisters and brothers who were also his caretakers; Jane Smith, Longview Comm., Dorothy (Larry) Wilhoite, Rover Comm., Peggy (David) Luna, Unionville, TN, Rose Mary (Steve) Adgent, Rover Comm., Connie Lamb, Longview Comm., Mitch Lamb, Rover Comm., Clifford (Diana) Lamb, Rover Comm., Kenneth (Bell) Lamb, Unionville, TN; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews who dearly loved and will miss their “Uncle Bull”.

Family members will receive friends on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Grooms and Rev. Mike Hannah officiating. Burial will follow in Pressgrove Cemetery in the North Fork Community of Bedford County.

Paul Smith, Dewayne Holder, Jason Luna, Jarrod Luna, Cody Adgent, Daniel Lamb, Austin Lamb and Blake Crutcher will serve as active pallbearers. Andrea Newcomb, Kenneth Newcomb and Keith Newcomb will serve as honorary pallbearers.
