Mrs. Irene Hay, age 90, of Eagleville, TN, died Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2015. Born in Lincoln Co., TN, Mrs Hay was a daughter of the late George Washington Sulser and Bertha Etta McCluskey Sulser. She was a retired Registered Nurse at the former Middle Tennessee Medical Center and was a graduate of the St. Thomas School of Nursing. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, David Marion Hay, Jr. who died in 2007. Mrs. Hay was a member of Eagleville United Methodist Church.

Survived by a daughter, Peggy Clark of Hendersonville, TN; a son, David (Betty) Hay of Eagleville, TN; a brother, G.W. (Mamie) Sulser Jr. of Fayetteville, TN; 4 grandchildren, Marsha Street, Anne-Marie Hooper, Michael Hay and Jonathan Clark; 11 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, Sept. 24, 2015 from 4PM – 8PM at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11AM, Friday, Sept. 25, 2015 from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Gilbert officiating. Burial will follow at Triune Cemetery in Williamson Co.

The family expresses their appreciation and thanks to Mrs. Hay’s Rook playing “Buddies” and to Ann Brown. A special thanks to the staff of Alive Hospice for their compassionate care.
