John Ivy

Mr. John Howard Ivy, age 58, of Chapel Hill, Tennessee, died Thursday morning, November 24, 2016 in Chapel Hill. Mr. Ivy was born in Memphis, Tennessee and was a son of the late Helen Marie Cox Ivy and John Howard Ivy, Sr. He was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church and member and former past master of Somerville Masonic Lodge # 73 in Somerville, Tennessee. Mr. Ivy was a retired Tennessee State Trooper having retired from the Tennessee Department of Safety after 27 years of service, the last three of those years assigned to the Tennessee State Capital.
Mr. Ivy is survived by his wife, Brenda Ivy, Chapel Hill, TN; daughters, Tiffany Ivy (Morgan) Stamper, Paintsville, KY and Nicole Ivy, Chapel Hill, TN
Visitation for family and friends will be on Sunday, November 27, 2016 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Masonic rites will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday.
