Mallory Cruz

Mallory Gabard Cruz, age 33, of Tucker, GA died Thursday, February 23, 2017. Born in Nashville, TN, Mallory is a daughter of Joseph Gabard and Cindy Lasater Gabard who survive. She was a 2002 graduate of Forrest High School in Chapel Hill; a graduate of Belmont College with a Bachelor’s degree; a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University with a Master’s degree. Mrs. Cruz was a E.S.L. teacher, with SPEAK, in Norcross, GA and a member of Victory World Church in Norcross. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Joe C. Gabard and Bob Lasater.

She is survived by her husband of six years, Kyle Cruz of Tucker, GA; a daughter, Lilian Cruz, age 4, of Tucker, GA;  her parents, Joseph and Cindy L. Gabard of Chapel Hill, TN; a sister, Meredith Douglas of Nashville, TN; grandparents, Hilda Lasater of Lewisburg, TN and Anne T. “Tommy” Gabard of Chapel Hill, TN.

The family will receive friends, Monday, February 27, from 1 PM – 3 PM at Cross Point Church Bellevue, 7675 Hwy 70 South, Nashville, TN 37221, followed by a Memorial Service at 3 PM at the church.
