Mary Vincent

Mrs. Mary Bowlin Vincent, age 98, died Thursday, August 4, 2016 in Mountain City, Tennessee. Mrs. Vincent was born in Rutherford County and was a daughter of the late William Riley and Martha Jane Ball Bowlin. She was a homemaker and a former nursing aide. Mrs. Vincent was a member of Eagleville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Farris Douglas Vincent who died in 1984.

Mrs. Vincent is survived by her son, James L. “Jimmy” Vincent, Mountain City, TN; grandchildren, Jessica Anne Short, James Logan Vincent; great grandchild, Xander Short; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 7, 2016 from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 8, 2016 from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Grooms officiating. Committal services will be conducted on Monday at 4:00 p.m. at the mausoleum chapel at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Smyrna, TN.

Nephews will serve as pallbearers.

In Lieu of Flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to the American Humane Association.
