Norma Fagan

May 15, 1926 — August 13, 2016

Norma Jean Lake Fagan, age 90, of Eagleville, TN, departed this life on August 13, 2016. She was born in Brydon, West Virginia, and was the daughter of the late Walter and Jennie Layman Lake.

Mrs. Fagan was a loving and much loved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt. For over a decade she worked for The National Geographic Society in Washington, D.C. She was a member of the Eagleville Family and Community Education Club. Mrs. Fagan was a member of the Eagleville Church of Christ.

Mrs. Fagan was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Fagan, and brothers, Walter, Clyde, Calder, Harold, and Robert Lake.

Mrs. Fagan leaves to cherish her memory, a daughter, Connie (Larry) Witte of Murfreesboro, TN; granddaughters, Laura (Jerry) Buchanan of Franklin, TN and Lisa (Gerard) Masse of New Salisbury, IN; five great - grandsons, Justin, Joshua, Jason, Gavin, and Nolan; sisters, Betty (Braxton) Barnes and Patricia Wing, both of Lewisburg, TN.

Family members will receive friends on Friday, August 19, 2016 from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at 10:30 am from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Jim Lawyer officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Smyrna, TN.

Jerry Buchanan, Gerard Masse, Bill Barnes, Ben Barnes, Brad Barnes, and Roger Scruggs, Jr. will serve as pallbearers.
