Mrs. Lorene Scott, age 67, of the Laws Hill Community of Marshall County, died Thursday, February 28, 2013 in Lewisburg, Tennessee.  Mrs. Scott was born in Maury County, and was a daughter of the late Nat Baxter and Minnie Evie Brady Phillips.  She was a loving mother and homemaker and was a member of Community Ministry of Chapel Hill.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, William Timothy Scott, a granddaughter, Ashley Nicole Justice, sister, Marie Waddy and brother, Wilburn Phillips.

Mrs. Scott is survived by her husband of 52 years, Bill Scott, Laws Hill Comm.; children, Jimmy Wayne Scott, Laws Hill Comm., Pamela Sheppard, Macon, GA, George Kenneth Scott, Unionville, TN, Tina Lorene Justice, Laws Hill Comm., Angela Lee West, Oklahoma City, OK, Emma Jean Scott Pugh, Laws Hill Comm.; sister, Peggy Scott, Laws Hill Comm.; grandchildren, Billy Wayne Scott, Charles William Scott, Sarah Leighanne Lancaster, George Bryon Scott, Jessica Nicole Sheppard, Jimmy Dwayne Scott, Jason Daniel Scott, Kenneth Wayne Sheppard, Jr., Cody Lynn Justice, Ashley Nicole Justice, Will Tyler Justice, Katelyn Michelle Justice, Timothy Tyler, Scott, Joshua Dane Bomar Scott, Joshua Raymond McConnell Scott, William Timothy Scott Pugh; five great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 2, 2013 from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 3, 2013 from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Pastor Helen Caldwell, Pastor Melissa Caldwell Broyles and Sister Agnes Lepley officiating.  Burial will follow in Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill.

Billy Wayne Scott, Kenneth Wayne Sheppard, Jr., Cody Lynn Justic, Will Tyler Justice, Joshua Raymond McConnell Scott, Douglas Wayne Pugh will serve as active pallbearers.  Ellen Bosher will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
