Barbara Nix

Mrs. Barbara Sue Nix, age 81, of Fernandina Beach, FL,  died October 19, 2018 in Fernandina Beach. She was born in Clinchfield, VA and was a daughter of the late James Jesse and Pauline Addison Jesse.  Mrs. Nix was a Licensed Practical Nurse. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Jesse and a grandson, Walter Moravits.

Survived by 2 daughters, Lynn Leanne Lewis of Chattanooga, TN and Juli Jill Newton of  Fernandina Beach, FL; 2 sons, Layne Lewis of Unionville, TN and Jamy Lewis of Fairview, TN; a sister, Linda Kingsley of Chattanooga, TN; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be conducted on Saturday, November 3, 2018, at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 8151 Haunt Hollow Rd, Rockvale, TN. Visitation will precede the Memorial Service from 11am – 12 Noon at the church. Burial will follow at Cothran Cemetery.
