Mrs. Mary E. Underwood, age 87, of Nashville, TN, died Saturday, March 10, 2018. Born in Marshall Co., Mrs. Underwood was a daughter of the late Robert Howard Slaughter and Ella Elizabeth Perryman Slaughter. She was a self-employed housekeeper. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Cheryl Roberson Lawrence; a sister, Mable Sharp and a brother, Bill Slaughter.
Survived by her 2 daughters, Peggy Roberson Barnes of Nashville; Diane Roberson Luna of Lewisburg; 9 Grandchildren, 21 Great grandchildren and 4 Great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, March 12, 2018 from 11:00AM – 1:00PM at Lawrence Funeral Home to be followed by the Funeral Service at 1:00PM. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Lewisburg.
