Mary Evelyn Sanders Walling

Ms. Mary Evelyn Sanders Walling, age 59, of Chapel Hill, TN, died Wednesday, February 13, 2019, at St. Thomas Hospital, in Nashville, TN.  She was a native of Marshall County and the daughter of the late Joe and Helen Isley Sanders.

Ms. Walling has been employed by Premiere Radiology in Nashville, TN for the past 10 years, and was known for her friendliness and kindness towards the patients and everyone she came in contact with.  Mary Evelyn was a graduate of Forrest High School, class of 1978.   She was a member of the church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Jolene Sanders Cole.  Survivors include two nieces, Meredith (Andy) Wallace of Chapel Hill, TN and Tanya (Steve) Hopper of the Wheel community, TN, three great nieces, Hannah Wallace, Olivia Wallace and Whitney Hopper and one great nephew, Wyatt Hopper, and two aunts, Carolyn Curtis of Lewisburg, TN and Gayle Crick White of Columbia, TN.

Visitation with the family and friends will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2019 from 5 PM until 7 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home.  A Celebration of Life will be held at 7 PM on Saturday, February 23, 2019 in the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home in Chapel Hill, TN.
