Sarah Rogers

Mrs. Sarah Frances Taylor Rogers, age 93, of Chapel Hill, Tennessee, died Thursday, March 22, 2018 in Lewisburg, Tennessee. Mrs. Rogers was born in the Rover Community of Bedford County and was a daughter of the late Thomas Edward and Nora Blanton Taylor. She was a member of Rover Baptist Church. Mrs. Sarah was a homemaker and operated Sarah’s Beauty Shop in Chapel Hill for forty years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Douglas Rogers, who died in 2008.

Mrs. Rogers is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 25, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home in Chapel Hill. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. at Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill with Bill Preston officiating. Burial will immediately follow.
