Vladimir Chernenko

Mr. Vladimir Chernenko, age 64, of College Grove, Tennessee, died Saturday morning, March 3, 2018 at his home near College Grove.

Mr. Chernenko was born in the Republic Komi, Russia and was preceded in death by his father, the late Ivan Zinovievich Chernenko. He was a crane operator, a car mechanic and an avid fisherman.

Mr. Chernenko is survived by his wife, Vira Martynova, College Grove, TN; sons, Alex Chernenko and Anton Chernenko, both of College Grove, TN; mother, Evdokia Egorovna Chernenko, Krasnodar, Russia; brother, Sergey Valentinovich Shelev, Krasnodar, Russia.

Family members will receive friends on Sunday, March 4, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Graveside services will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Monday. March 5, 2018 at Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill. Burial will immediately follow in Swanson Cemetery.
