William Newbern

Mr. William David Newbern, age 65, of Unionville, TN, died Wednesday, May 15, 2019. Born in Tifton Co. Georgia, Mr. Newbern was a son of the late Odis Newbern and Dorothy Cherry Newbern. He was retired from Roadway Express and attended Eagleville Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Newbern.

Survived by his wife, Peggy Ann Wilhoite Newbern of Unionville, TN; 5 sons, Michael Newbern of Delaware, OH, Jason Newbern of Lavergne, TN, Doug (Mary) Newbern of Smyrna, TN, Daniel (Amanda) Newbern of Smyrna, TN, and Chris Harris of Chapel Hill, TN; 2 daughters, Morgan Newbern of Unionville, TN, Karen Brandon of Bell Buckle, TN; brother, Wayne (Carol) Newbern of Fleming Island, FL; sister-in-law, Cathy Newbern of Brunswick, GA; 14 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Visitation will be Friday, May 17, 2019 from 4pm – 8pm at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be conducted at 10am, Saturday, May 18, 2019 from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Jim Lawyer officiating. Burial will follow at the Simpson Cemetery in Bedford Co.
