Mr. Alfred Eugene Lane, age 77, of Thompsons Station, TN, formerly of Chapel Hill,TN, died Thursday, December 30, 2021. A native of Marshall Co., TN, Mr. Lane was a son of the late Alfred Jones Lane and Gladys Lucille Sheffield Lane. He was a retired Rate Clerk for the railroad.
Survivors are his 2 daughters, Suzanne Lane (Jim) Strong of Thompsons Station, TN and Abbie Lane (Wayne) Bishop of Nashville, TN.; a son, Warren (Valissa) Lane of Louisville, TN; 7 grandchildren, Parker and Matt Strong, Mackenzie Hood, Kristen and Landon Hobbs, Griffin Lane and Logan DePalmer.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1pm, Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill, TN.
