Mrs. Andrea Herring, age 52, of Chapel Hill, Tennessee, died Tuesday, March 18, 2014 in Chapel Hill. Mrs. Herring was born in Phoenix, Arizona and was a daughter of Charles Lindberg Emmons and the late Helen Louise Short Emmons. She was a homemaker and formerly was a teacher’s aide in Fayetteville, TN. Before moving to Tennessee, Mrs. Herring was employed with the Arizona Department of Transportation and the Arizona Game and Fish Commission. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, Lick Skillet, TN and also attended Calvary Fellowship in Fayetteville, TN.
Mrs. Herring is survived by her husband, Kevin Herring, Chapel Hill, TN; daughter, Karlie Herring, Chapel Hill, TN; son, Walker Herring, Chapel Hill, TN; father, Charles Linberg Emmons, Arizona; sister, Diane (Mark) Bowen, Colorado; brother, Chuck (Lisa) Emmons, Arizona; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 23, 2014 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. A Celebration Service of the Life of Mrs. Herring will be at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Dwight Smith officiating.
