Annie Pearl Jackson Espinoza age 92 of the Harpeth Community, a beloved mother, grandmother, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2025, in her hometown of Franklin, Tennessee. Born on December 7, 1932, Annie touched the lives of many during her remarkable 92 years, radiating warmth and kindness wherever she went.
A proud member of the Cool Springs Primitive Baptist Church for many years, Annie was devoted to her faith and community. Her gentle spirit and compassionate heart made her a cherished figure within the church. Her love for gardening flourished throughout her life. She found joy in cultivating her plants, reveling in the beauty of nature and the peace it brought her.
Annie is survived by her daughter, Sheila Harper. She was a proud grandmother to Amy and her husband Brad Fann, and Jennifer Moore, great grandchildren Tanner, Zoe, and Ethan Cole, and Zakkary Fann and fiancé Bailey Agness. Annie adored her grandchildren, finding immense joy in their laughter and achievements.
Her family also includes three great-great-grandchildren and many cherished nieces and nephews, who were fortunate to know the warmth and love of their aunt. Annie’s ability to bring family together was one of her many gifts, reminding each of them of the importance of connection and unity.
Annie was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Floyd Espinoza, whose love remained with her through the years. She was also welcomed into the heavens by her mother and father, John and Annie Jackson, along with her five brothers—Jim, Rufus, Howard, George, and Owen Jackson—and two sisters, Maggie Sue Smithson and Mary Deason. Together, they await their beloved Annie, who leaves behind a legacy of love that will endure in the hearts of all who knew her.
Visitation will be held 4-7:00PM Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at Lawrence Funeral Home and again on July 10, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will follow on July 10 at 11:00 AM, Bro. Travis Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Poteete Cemetery. Pallbearers: Brad Fann, Tanner Cole, Ethan Cole, Nephew Frankie Harper, Zakk Fann, and Dorris Heithcock
As we gather to celebrate Annie Pearl Espinoza’s life, we honor a woman who brought light to our lives and left a lasting impression on our hearts. Though she may have departed from this world, her spirit will forever bloom in our memories like the flowers in her cherished garden.
