Ara Mccaleb

Mrs. Ara Eleanor Thomas McCaleb, age 90, of Linden, TN, died Friday, August 17, 2018. Born in Marshall Co., Mrs. McCaleb was a daughter of the late Morgan Thomas and Mattie Polk Thomas. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wade Augustus McCaleb; a son, Tommy McCaleb; a grandson, Zachary Pope; sisters, Mary Alice Ervin and Dorothy Mullins; a brother, Bud Thomas.

Survived by her daughter, Wadene Pope of Linden, TN; her daughter in law, Melanie McCaleb of Lewisburg, TN; a brother, Dooney Thomas of Lewisburg, TN; grandchildren, Deke Pope, Josh McCaleb and Paige McCaleb. Also survived by a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Lawrence Funeral Home from 10AM – 1PM. The Funeral Service will follow the visitation at 1PM with Tim Flippen officiating. Burial will follow at Elliott Cemetery in Marshall Co.
