Ben Thomas Curtis

Mr. Ben Thomas Curtis, age 87, of Lewisburg, TN , died Sunday, December 28, 2025. Born in DeKalb Co., TN, Ben was a son of the late Johnny Foster Curtis and Connie Bell Neil Curtis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Steven Harmond; sisters, Dot Burns, Wanda Burns and Martha Curtis; brothers, Robert Curtis, Charles Curtis, Johnny Curtis, Jr.;  great grandchild, Aya Grace Curtis.

Ben loved spending time with his family as well as bird hunting, fishing and farming. He was a retired shipping clerk for Faber Castell and was a long time member of 40 plus years at Parkview Baptist Church.

Survived by his wife, Carol J. Curtis; 2 sons, David (Bob) Curtis and Jeff (Gail) Harmond; brother, Billy (Gayle) Curtis; 7 grandchildren, Nicole Orr, Jason Curtis, Sherri Deason, Brad Harmond, Sean Harmond, Jessica Cammarata and Scott Harmond; great grandchildren, Eden Curtis, Hazel Cammarata, Roran Cammarata, Miles, Cooper, Jax, and Sommer Harmond; daughter-in-law, Amy Harmond.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 31, 2025 from 10 AM – 12 Noon at Lawrence Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill at 12:30 PM.
