Bill "Bird" Deason

Mr. Bill “Bird” Deason, age 57, of Fairview, TN, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2023, at his residence.  He was born in Williamson County, TN, and was a son of the late Charles Dan Deason and Helen Emogene Haskins Deason.  He worked in construction and later became disabled.

Bird loved working on his MOPAR and riding around with Skeeter, his faithful companion and furry friend.  He was a good artist and had a kind and loving heart.  He was full of laughter.  Most of all, he loved his family and being with them.

Mr. Deason is survived by his best friend, companion, and caregiver, Mona Jackson of Fairview, TN; brother, Jerry Wilson Haskins of Franklin, TN; sister, Terri Jean Haskins of Dickson, TN; aunts, Cheryl Crawford of Holt’s Corner Community, Mildred Robinson of Holt’s Corner Community, Judy Haley of Holt’s Corner Community; several nieces and nephews; and several cousins.

Visitation with the family will be on Monday, December 18, 2023 from 10 AM until 1 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be conducted at 1 PM on Monday, December 18, 2023 from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Chatman officiating.  Interment will follow at the Poteete Cemetery in Williamson County, TN.

Active pallbearers will be Wayne Irvin, Keith Haskins, Jerry Lee Deason, David Deason, Bubba Deason, Mike Humphrey, Jim Wayne Kelley and Joseph Hartley.  Honorary pallbearers will be James Aaron Hartley, Bubba Lynch, Billy Joe Ford, Chris Osborne, and James Edgar Lynch.
