Mr. Billy Edward Morris, Sr., age 77, passed away on February 10, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of strength, dedication, and deep love for his family.
Born on April 13, 1948, in Eagleville, TN Billy lived a life marked by hard work, service, and determination. A former professional wrestler, who loved to entertain people all over the Southeast in the late 1970’s and early 1980’s. Billy devoted his life to public service, serving with honor in the Tullahoma Police Department, where he retired as a Sergeant. His commitment to protecting and serving others reflected his strong sense of duty and integrity.
Above all, Billy was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Beverly Morris, whose partnership and love were the foundation of his life. He leaves behind his children, Paula Morris, Sherry Morris, and Billy E. Morris, Jr.; his grandchildren, Brent (Iryna) Morris and Madeline Morris; his cherished great grandchildren, Kai and Stella Morris, who brought him immense pride and joy.
He is also survived by his brothers, Jerry Morris, Kenny Morris, and Kevin Morris; his sister, Katina Hardiman; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will forever remember his strength, humor, and steadfast presence.
Billy was preceded in death by his father, Aubrey “Pete” Morris, his mother, Marie Morris, and his brother, Ricky Morris.
Visitation with the family will be on Saturday, February 21, 2026 from 10 AM until 12:30 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at 12:30 PM from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Kevin Durham officiating. Interment will follow at Hopper Cemetery in the Law’s Hill Community in Marshall County, TN.
Pallbearers will be Brent Morris, Layne Morris, Donnie Morris, Chuckie Morris, Jamie Orr, and John T. Underwood. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Hill, Joe Hill, Roy Hutt, and Bill Corbett.
Those who knew Billy will remember a man of resilience, loyalty, and unwavering love for his family. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched, the family he cherished, and the example he set. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
