Mrs. Blanche Watkins, age 60, of Chapel Hill, TN, died Tuesday, November 14, 2017, at her residence, following an extended illness. Born in Memphis, TN, Mrs. Watkins was a daughter of the late Albert King Walls and Sammie Lee Johnson Walls who survives. She formerly worked as a caregiver in the medical field. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Franklin Watkins, Jr and a brother, Willie Walls.
Survived by a daughter, Sondra Walls of Chapel Hill, TN; 3 sons, Benjamin Watkins III of Spring Hill, TN, Quintin Watkins of Clarksville, TN and Mario Walls of Chapel Hill, TN; 2 sisters, Abigail Bent of Radcliff, Ky, Julia Phillips of Memphis, TN; 2 brothers, Marvin Walls of Memphis, TN; Drexel Walls of Ft. Smith, Ar; her mother, Sammie Walls of Memphis, TN; 3 grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, November 20, 2017 at Lawrence Funeral Home from 12 Noon – 2PM. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, following the visitation at 2PM.
