Mrs. Brenda G. Hosford, age 74, of Chapel Hill, TN passed away September 3, 2026, in Nashville, TN. Brenda was born March 13, 1952, to the late Malcolm Lee Harris and Mary Alice Scott Harris who survives. Mrs. Brenda was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her 2 siblings, Mike Harris and Hazel Ann Jones Hargrove.

Brenda loved her family dearly. She loved spending time with them and being active with her grandchildren. Brenda was known to make you full from her cooking. Her heart was big for her community and friends. She found great joy in collecting salt and pepper shakers. Brenda enjoyed being on the front porch swinging and talking with her grandchildren.

Brenda is survived by her husband of 55 years, Danny L. Hosford of Chapel Hill, TN; her sons, Danny W. (Lesley) Hosford of Murfreesboro, TN and Brian (Kristan) Hosford of Rally Hill Community; 6 grandchildren, Nick Hosford, Kaitlyn Hosford, Kaycee (Cameron) Millwater, Lauren Hosford, McKinley (Caleb Kirksey) Hosford, and Hudson Hosford; 2 great grandchildren, Mason and Chloe Hosford , and other special grandchildren and great grandchildren; her mother, Mary Alice Scott Harris; siblings, Donna Randolph, Sue Randolph, Mary Kincaid, Anita Chumbley, Garry Harris, and Mitch Harris; several nieces and nephews as well as many friends who will remember her.

A Visitation with the Hosford Family will be on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at 4PM until 8PM at Lawrence Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be Sunday, September 6, 2026 at 11AM from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Dean Delk officiating. Burial to follow in Hardison Cemetery in Columbia, TN.

Pallbearers will be Cameron Millwater, Hudson Hosford, Bubba Bowman, Caleb Kirksey, Layne Bowman, and Nick Hosford.
