Brenda Phifer

Mrs. Brenda Phifer, age 52, of the Farmington Community of Marshall County, died Tuesday, July 5, 2022.

Brenda was born in Marshall County and was a member of the Class of 1988 at Forrest High School in Chapel Hill. She was a member of Grove Hill Church in Chapel Hill and served as an administrative assistant at Chapel Hill Elementary School for many years.

Mrs. Phifer is survived by her husband of 34 years, Roger Phifer, Farmington Comm.; children, Micah (Amber) Phifer, Farmington Comm., Hannah (Dylan) McKnight, Lewisburg, TN; mother, Evelyn Whaley, Farmington Comm.; grandchildren, Micah Phifer, Jr., Silas Phifer, Stetson McKnight. Brenda was also preceded in death by her father, Rufus Lee Whaley, who died in 2021.

Family members will receive friends on Thursday, July 7, 2022 from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. A Celebration of Brenda’s life will follow at 6:00 p.m. from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Ridley Barron officiating.
