Charles Thomas "Tommy" Floyd, Jr.

Mr. Charles Thomas “Tommy” Floyd, Jr., age 83, of Chapel Hill, TN, died on Tuesday, November 17, 2020.  He was born in the Caney Spring Community of Marshall County to the late Charles Thomas Floyd, Sr. and Lenis Hunter Floyd.  Mr. Tommy was a dairy equipment salesman and lifelong farmer.  He was a member of Caney Spring United Methodist Church, a graduate of the Class of 1955 at Forrest High School, and served our country in the United States Army.  Mr. Floyd truly loved farming and his family.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Charles T. “Chuck” Floyd, and a sister, Evie Smith.

Mr. Floyd is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Patsy Floyd of Chapel Hill, TN; son, Duane (Jan) Floyd of Chapel Hill, TN; sisters, Maxine Johns of Chapel Hill, TN and Martha Jean Burris of the Rover Community; 3 grandchildren, Joshua Floyd, Jessica Fuhs, and Jacob Floyd; 5 great grandchildren, Ryan, Hadley, and Eliza Floyd, Millie and Chip Fuhs.

The graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Allen Cemetery in the Caney Spring Community of Marshall County, TN with Rev. Larry Chatman officiating.  Interment will follow in Allen Cemetery.
