Cheryl Booth Barrett age 69, of Alpharetta, GA, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2026 in Georgia. Cheryl was born March 31, 1957 to William Oval Booth and Lois Dean Carman Booth. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Glendal Booth, and sister Betty Jean Booth Merritt. She was a member of the Baptist Faith.

Cheryl was a caring individual. She loved singing and was always wanting to get her sisters together to sing. She was a member of the Booth Sisters Group. Cheryl never met a stranger wherever she went and was always greeting you with a smile. She loved her grandchildren dearly and enjoyed spoiling them. Most of all, her smile and huge loving heart will be what she is remembered by for many generations to come.

Cheryl is survived by her son, William “Billy” (Julia) Barrett of Alpharetta, GA; 2 grandchildren, Rebecca Claire and William Bowen Barrett; sisters, Vickie Booth (Wayne) Johnson of Eagleville, TN, Lynn Booth (Lynn Allen) Redmond of Eagleville, TN, and Wilma Dean Booth (James “Tater”) Wright of Lewisburg, TN; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the Barrett Family will be Monday, August 3, 2026, at 10AM until 11AM. A Funeral Service will take place at 11AM from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Haynes officiating. Burial will follow in Rocky Glade Cemetery in Eagleville, TN.
