Cheryl Lyn Whittington Talley

Mrs. Cheryl Lyn Whittington Talley, age 69, of Chapel Hill, Tennessee passed from this life, Monday, September 22, 2025. Mrs. Cheryl was born on October 17, 1955 in Chicago, IL to the late Cars Whittington and Dorothy Bass Whittington Graham. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Anthony Charles Talley, and her brother Donald Whittington. She was of the Baptist faith.

Cheryl loved being around her grandchildren. You could find her often shopping and enjoying thrifting. She enjoyed gardening and growing flowers with her husband, Anthony. She was always willing to make sure you were fed and enjoyed a good meal. Cheryl was a selfless individual with her thought and motivation. Most importantly, she was a believer in Christ.

Mrs. Cheryl is survived her children, Conrad (Emily) Talley of Collingswood, NJ, Chad (Marie) Talley of Georgetown, TX, Tonya (Tim) Ruggles of South Bloomfield, OH, and Sarah (Jake) Holland of Bon Aqua, TN; 15 grandchildren, Isabel, Patrick, Cailyn, Evelyn, Ethan, Elyse, Evan, Oliver, Colton, Jaxson, Carter, Jeremy, Billy Jr., River, and Paisely; a brother, Randall (Joann) Whittington; a sister, Karen ( Mike) Church; 4 nieces also survive.

Per the wishes of Mrs. Cheryl, there will be a private family service at a later date where she will be laid to rest with her husband.
