Danny Carlton

Mr. Danny Carlton, age 77, of Unionville Tennessee, died Friday, July 15, 2022 at his home after an extended illness. Mr. Carlton was born in Murfreesboro, Tennessee and was a son of the late Samuel Richard and Margie Elizabeth Crick Carlton. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Joe Carlton.

Mr. Carlton was a member of First Church of God Church in Antioch, TN. He was a retired roofer, and for many years, also worked at the Unionville and Woodbury Sale Barns. He loved to trade cattle and hogs and was an accomplished woodworker.

Mr. Carlton is survived by his wife of 61 years, Lucille Carlton, Unionville, TN; children, Danny (MaryAnn) Carlton, Rockvale, TN, Jerry (Mary) Carlton, Gruetli Laager, TN, Tony (Connie) Carlton, Unionville, TN, Tammy Carlton, Unionville, TN; sister, Martha Rich, Readyville, TN; brother, Robert Carlton, Rockvale, TN; grandchildren, Daniel Carlton, Jr., Danielle Mendenhall, Jerry Wayne Carlton, Jr., Bradley Carlton, Blake Carlton, Kayla Trisdale, Ashley Harris, Chasity Harris, Tamara Allen, Tanya Roberts, Codi Perry, Jeffrey Wayne Tracy, Jr.; twenty three great grandchildren.

Family members will receive friends on Monday, July 18, 2022 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. David Ford officiating. Burial will follow in Carlton Cemetery near Rockvale, TN.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
