Deborah Smithson Freeman

Mrs. Deborah Faye Smithson Freeman, age 64, of Rockvale, TN, died Wednesday, August 20, 2025 following an extended illness. Born in Marshall Co. TN, Deborah was a daughter of the late Bennie Franklin Smithson and Juanita Yell Smithson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Edward Freeman and a brother, Mike Smithson. She was formerly a grocery clerk at Brooks Grocery in Chapel Hill, TN.

Survived by her 2 sisters, Connie (Jerry) Smithson Sweeney of Chapel Hill, TN and Rita (Richard) Smithson Hobby; her mother-in-law, Alice Freeman; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday, August 25, 2025 at Lawrence Funeral Home from 10AM – 1PM. The Funeral Service will follow at 1PM. Burial will be at Cothran Cemetery in the Rover Community of Bedford Co.
