Donald Wayne Comstock

Lt. Colonel Donald Wayne Comstock, USAF (Ret), age 91, of Brentwood, TN, died Thursday, March 28,2024. Born in Marshall Co. TN, he was a son of the late William Clyde Comstock and Bessie Weaver Comstock.  Donald was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. A graduate of Forrest High School in Chapel Hill, TN, he retired from the Air Force as a Lieutenant Colonel and began his career as a real estate broker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers, James Comstock, Gordon Comstock and Bob Comstock.

Survived by his wife of 69 years, Faye Comstock of Brentwood , TN; 2 daughters, Christy (Moody) Ozier and Cheryl (Chuck) Davis, both of Chapel Hill, TN; 7 grandchildren, Jared Higgins, Trey Davis, Lindsey Tallent, Drew Davis, Cole Davis, Ashley Reed and Adam Ozier; 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 10, 2024 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home to be followed by the funeral service at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at the Simpson Cemetery in the Rover Community of Bedford County with Military Honors.
