Mr. Dwight Howard, Sr., age 67, of Lewisburg, TN, died Tuesday, January 17, 2017. Born in Marshall Co., TN, Mr. Howard was a son of the late John Baxter Howard and Polly Mae Young Howard. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Janet Lee McCulloch Howard; a brother, William Armistead Cochran, Jr. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served during the Vietnam War.
Survived by a daughter, Tracy Howard of Chicago, IL; 2 sons, Steve Howard of Brookfield, IL and John Howard of Chicago, IL; a sister, Rebecca “Becky” Mangrum of Lewisburg, TN; a brother, Billy Baxter Howard of Lewisburg, TN; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 21, 2017 from 10 AM to 2 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at 2 PM from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill with Military Honors.
