Effie Wilson
October 20, 1929 — January 22, 2015
Mrs. Effie Wilson, age 85, of College Grove, died Thurs., Jan. 22, 2015. A native of Williamson Co., Mrs. Wilson was a daughter of the late Virgil Taylor and Bessie Maupin Taylor. She was retired from Durango Boot Co. and was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church at Triune, TN. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Wilson and a brother, Wade “Buddy” Taylor
. Survived by a daughter, Shirley Borel of Smyrna TN; a son, Bill (Helen) Wilson of Smyrna TN; a sister, Cordell Williams of Woodbury, TN; 4 grandchildren, Lacritia (Rob) Sanson of Goodlettsville, TN; Gary (Kelly) Wilson of Dayton, OH; Berachah Flottemesch of Milford, OH; Joshua (Charlie Price) Borel of Murfreesboro; 7 great grandchildren, Kiley, Kelsey, Drake, Joey, Elijah, Daniel and Jude.
Visitation will be from 4pm – 8pm, Sun., Jan. 25, 2015 at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30pm, Mon., Jan. 26, 2015 from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home. Burial will follow at College Grove Cemetery.
