Elizabeth Wix
September 20, 1929 — December 19, 2017
Mrs. Elizabeth Eddins Wix, age 88, of Columbia, TN, died Tuesday, December 19, 2017, at her residence. She was born in Possum Hollow, TN, to the late Thomas Allen Eddins, Sr. and Stella Mai Brown Eddins. Mrs. Wix worked with the state of Tennessee as a data processor in the finance department where she later retired. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by four brothers, four sisters, and a daughter, Patricia Wix.
Mrs. Wix is survived by her children, Walter Wix, Columbia, TN; James Carl Wix, Howardwick, TX; Betty J. Frierson, Columbia, TN; and Ernest Steven Wix, Lakeview, CO; brothers, Thomas Allen Eddins, Jr., Ashville, NC; James Clifton Eddins and Perry Dexter Eddins, both of Bowling Green, KY; 9 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
Family members will receive friends on Thursday, December 28, 2017, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Lawrence Funeral Home. Graveside services will take place at 1:00 pm at Swanson Cemetery with Tommy Hood officiating.
