George Allison Worden, age 63, of Lewisburg, TN passed away April 30, 2026. George was born May 18, 1962 to George Allison Worden and Jeanette Robertson Worden who survives. George was a member of Baptist Church.

George grew up trapping, fishing, hunting, camping and living a country life. He loved trains, tractors, and all things with a motor. As a kid, he had a bounty of hot wheels and tonka toys but his passion for building things began when he received an Erector Set for Christmas.

George graduated from Liberty Central School in Liberty NY in 1981 and headed to Nashville Auto-Diesel College in Nashville where he fell in love with Tennessee. With his knowledge of mechanics, he became a tour bus driver for many years, traveling nationally and internationally, while working for performers ranging from Lynyrd Skynyrd, Alabama, Whitney Houston, Travis Tritt, and Garth Brooks.

George was a past member of the White Sulphur Springs Volunteer Fire Company.

In addition to his parents, George is survived by his wife of 18 years, Donna Worden of Lewisburg, TN; stepchildren, Wendy Cawthorn of Chapel Hill, TN, Tammy Cawthorn of Tullahoma, TN, Richard Cawthron of Shelbyville, TN; a son, George (Gage) A Worden IV; 3 grandchildren, Destiny Williams, Addyson Williams, and Brayden Williams; a great grandchild, Zaiden Williams; sisters, Deborah Worden of Equinunk, PA and Bette Jean Gettel of Bethel, NY.

There will be no services at this time.
