Henry Leroy Buchholz ,87, of Lewisburg, TN passed away peacefully on September 6, 2026 surrounded by family and loved ones. Henry was born on November 5,1938, to Ben Buchholz and Ruth Tibbs Buchholz in Effingham, Illinois.

Henry had many hobbies but enjoyed the outdoors fishing, hot rod cars, racing, Casinos, and horse racing; but most notably a true and proud fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He was one to always tell a joke and had a great sense of humor. He will always be remembered for his love of his family, his faith and his incredible work ethic and dedication to his work. He will be forever loved and missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife and love of his life, Nancy Ann Buchholz, his son, Tony (Shawna) Buchholz, daughter, Tammy (Jenice) Buchholz; his grandchildren Brooke, Dr. Taylor (Ethan), Tori, Andrea (Caleb), Zach (Brennan) and 10 Great Grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Ruth Buchholz, Jack and Alberta Williams, brother Melvin, and sisters Alberta (Jim), Eileen, and Lorene (Lewis)

Visitation will be held on Tuesday September 8, 2026 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Lawrence Funeral Home in Chapel Hill, TN. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday September 9, 2026 at 11:00am at Lawrence Funeral Home in Chapel Hill, TN followed by a Burial at Swanson Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers the family would request that donations be made out to The Vanderbilt Alzheimer’s Association and New Vision Outreach church, 4506 Nashville Hwy, Chapel Hill, TN 37034.
