Henry Lee Hargrove, Jr.

Mr. Henry Lee Hargrove, Jr., age 84, of the Wheel Community of Bedford County, TN, passed away June 21, 2025 in Lynchburg, TN. Mr. Hargrove was born May 1, 1941 in Chapel Hill, TN to the late Henry lee Hargrove Sr. and Ethel Louise Ragsdale Hargrove. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hargrove was preceded in death by his 2 brothers, Terry Hargrove and Billy Lewis Hargrove, and son in law Larry Curtis.

Mr. Hargrove was retired after 21 years from Textron Aerostructures/AVCO in Nashville, TN. Mr. Hargrove loved to work and fix any kind of vehicles. He was an avid Nascar fan and loved to garden and keep his lawn manicured to perfection. He loved his children and grandchildren dearly. His favorite saying while family was there was, “I liked to see them come, but I love to see them go.”

His greatest gift and legacy that he will leave to his children and grandchildren is the day he gave his and heart to God and was baptized on October 2, 2022 at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church in Lewisburg, TN.

Henry Hargrove is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Sandra Yoes Hargrove; sons, Tad (Kim) Hargrove of Lewisburg, TN, and Tye (Brandi) Hargrove of Murfreesboro, TN; daughters, Kathy Hargrove Curtis of Chapel Hill, TN, Lisa (Toby) Yoes Hobbs of Shelbyville, TN, and Laura (Bill) Yoes Gordon of Shelbyville, TN; eleven grandchildren, Brandon (Erika) Hargrove of Chapel Hill, Kayla (Sean) Deckert of College Grove , Madison Hargrove of Brentwood, Blayze Hargrove of Hendersonville, Joshua(Meredith) Floyd of Eagleville, Rachel(Danny) Goodman of Clifton, Larry Skeeters of Shelbyville, Zach(Amanda) Skeeters of Shelbyville, Meredith(AJ) Yoes Trott of Bell Buckle, Henry Christian Gordon of Shelbyville, and Mia Gordon of Shelbyville; 17 Great Grandchildren also survive.

Memorial donations may be made to any Humane Society of your choice.
