James Paul Giles Jr

Mr. James Paul Giles, Jr age 76, of College Grove, TN passed away Monday, July 13, 2026. Born in Bedford Co., Mr. Giles was the son of the late James Paul Giles, Sr and Dovie Neil Hartley Giles.

Mr. Giles’s occupation was as an automobile mechanic. He truly loved “turning wrenchs” as well as owning and building antique cars. He was particularly known as someone who loved to reach out and help others. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Survived by his wife of 37 years, Connie Waters Giles; 2 sisters, Carol Smith and Elaine Arnold; nieces, Amy Howell, Ronda McGeorge, Belinda Boggess and Brandi Summers; nephews, Dustin Pruitt, Patrick Hix, Chris Arnold and Ron Smith; several great-nieces and nephews as well as their neighbors.

Visitation will be Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 11AM – 1:00PM at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow visitation at 1PM from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Simpson Cemetery in the Rover Community of Bedford Co.
