James "Jimmy" Alexander Collins, Jr

Mr. James Alexander Collins Jr, (Jimmy) age 83, formerly of Chapel Hill, TN died July 8, 2026. Born in Lewisburg, TN, Jimmy was the son of the late James Alexander Collins Sr and Frances Alberta Harris Collins. In addition to is parents he was preceded in death by his son-in- law, Gregory Bill Crabtree and a brother-in-law, Charles Doris Hill.

Jimmy was a former Road Master with CSX Railroad and he also enjoyed training horses.

He is survived by his daughter, Kim Crabtree of Fayetteville, TN; a sister, Ann Hill of Chapel Hill, TN; 2 granddaughters, Kellie Dollar of Fayetteville, TN and Larrisa VanDusen of Cornersville, TN; a grandson, Morgan Crabtree; a great-granddaughter, Page Ann VanDusen; a great grandson, Michael Crabtree; 3 nephews, Alex (Angie) Hill, Jason (Angie) Hill and Keith Barnes; a niece, Tina (Kenny) Crutcher; several great nieces and nephews also survive.

Burial of Jimmy’s cremains will be at 10 AM, Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at Allen Cemetery in the Caney Spring Community.
