James Mckinley Walls

Mr. James McKinley Walls, age 76, of Eagleville, TN, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2024, in Murfreesboro, TN.  He was born in Murfreesboro, TN, and was a son of the late John Willie Walls and Mary Ruth Shelton Walls.  Mr. Walls was of the Baptist faith and was retired from many years of service to Durango Boot Company, Kusan Industries, and Radiation Protection Products.  In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his loving wife of over 30 years, Linda Sue Underwood Walls, a sister, Donna Underwood, and brothers, Wayne Walls, Kenneth Walls, Chris Walls, and David Walls.

James enjoyed joking with and picking at people.  He loved going to Church for worship.  He thoroughly enjoyed riding around over the countryside and seeing everything as he was cruising! 

Mr. Walls is survived by his sisters, Barbara Carlton of Murfreesboro, TN, Carol Aradine of Murfreesboro, TN, Diane Warren of Eagleville, TN; brothers, Marvin Walls of Eagleville, TN, Mark Walls of Ringgold, GA, Eugene Walls of Murfreesboro, TN; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be on Monday, May 6, 2024 from 8:30 AM until 9:30 AM at Lawrence Funeral Home.  Graveside services will be conducted on Monday, May 6, 2024 at 10 AM at Rocky Glade Cemetery in Eagleville, TN with Bro. Tony Anderson officiating.  Interment will follow the service.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

The family would like to thank the staff and especially the caregivers of NHC Healthcare in Mufreesboro, TN for the excellent care given to him over the last 7 plus years he was there!
