Janice Raye Cobb Trostel

Mrs. Janice Raye Cobb Trostel, age 65, passed away Wednesday, May 20,2026 in Memphis, TN. Born in Huntsville, AL, she was the daughter of the late Ray Cobb and Billie Jean Denton Cobb.

Janice worked for many years as a retail clerk in various businesses. She enjoyed dirt track racing and visiting thrift stores. Above everything else she loved her family and just being Nana to all of her grandchildren.

Survived by her husband of 45 years, Richard Wilson Trostel of Belfast, TN; 2 daughters, Amber (Joseph) Stinnett of Belfast, TN and Holly (Travis) Baker of Toney, AL; her son, Jason (Jackie) Trostel of Hazel Green, AL; 5 grandchildren, Charlie Johnson, Bentley Johnson, Meghan Travis, Khloe Bakerand Jaylen Duke Baker.

There will be a gathering of family and friends Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at Lawrence Funeral Home from 12pm – 2pm.
