JC Chumbley

Mr. JC Chumbley, Jr., age 75, of Chapel Hill, TN passed away on Friday, August 28, 2026 at his residence. JC was born in Marshall County, TN to the late JC Chumbley, Sr. and Alta Emma Laura Newcomb Chumbley. He worked in steel fabrication at Talos Corporation and served our country in the United States Army. JC was of the Christian faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie Chumbley.

JC loved working in his shop and repairing lawnmowers. He had a strong passion for Dodge trucks and anything MOPAR. He was a handyman and could fix anything for his friends. JC loved his family and friends and appreciated his visits and fellowship with all of them.

Mr. Chumbley is survived by his loving wife, Beth Douglas Chumbley of Chapel Hill, TN; children, Amanda Chumbley of Columbia, TN, Destiny Douglas Cooper of Chapel Hill, TN; grandchildren, Warren, Paislee, and Cohen Cooper; siblings, Revenus Barnes (John) of Cornersville, TN, EmilyHazelett Phelps (Daniel) of Lewisburg, TN, Kenneth Chumbley (Sandy) of Pulaski, TN, Kirk Douglas Chumbley (Wendy) of Lewisburg, TN, special friends and family, Jackie King, Will Haislip, Clifford (Rosa) Love, Johnny B. Cook.

The family will host a Celebration of Life Service at a later date.
