Jennie Hurt

Ms. Jennie Hurt, age 54, of Chapel Hill, TN, died on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at her residence near Chapel Hill, TN.  She was born in Nashville, TN and was a daughter of the late Benjamin Allen Hurt and Mary Elizabeth McBroom Hurt.  Jennie was retired from retail sales and became a homemaker.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Sherry Hurt and Tinker Watson.

Jennie enjoyed NASCAR racing and being involved with all of her family and their activities.  She treated everyone special and she always had her Mountain Dew drink with her!

Ms. Hurt is survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and her second family.

Visitation with the family will be on Thursday, February 16, 2023 from 11 AM until 1 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home.  The Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 1 PM on Thursday, February 16, 2023 from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home.
