Mr. Jerry H. Grohowski, age 74, of the Halls Mill Community of Bedford County, died Tuesday evening, July 11, 2023 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

Mr. Grohowski was born in Swanton, Ohio and was a son of the late Wilmer Cairl “Bill”and Annie Laurie Logue Grohowski.  He was a member of the Baptist faith and was an active member of the ACBL Duplicate Bridge Club.  Mr. Grohowski was retired from the State of Tennessee where he worked as a probation parole officer in the Columbia, Tennessee office.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Michael Forrest Grohowski and Phillip Edward Grohowski.

Mr. Grohowski is survived by his wife of 31 years, Faye Grohowski, Halls Mill Comm.; sons; Allen Cobb (Jodi Etchen), Chapel Hill, TN, Travis Brent (Leanne) Cobb, Roanoke, VA.

Family members will receive friends on Friday, July 14, 2023 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 15, 2023 at 10:00 am from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Clancy Burke officiating.  Burial to follow in Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill.

Bill Adcock, Jacob Adcock, James Owen, Robert Sheppard, Micah Donegan and Charlie Denton will serve as pallbearers.
