Mr. Jerry Wayne Reynolds, age 80, of Chapel Hill, TN died on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at his residence. Mr. Reynolds was born in Nashville, TN and was the son of the late James Calvin Reynolds and Elsie Maulde Henry Reynolds. He was a member of the Free-Will Baptist Church. Jerry owned and operated J. W. Reynolds Architect where he worked all over middle Tennessee.
Jerry loved working and helping others in design projects including churches, hospitals, detention centers, offices, schools, fire stations, and rest stop areas. He loved attending the Tennessee Performing Arts Center for events and was even a season ticket holder. He loved concerts, going out to dinner, and worshipping in church. He had a passion for throwing baseball with his daughter and teasing his wife. He enjoyed reading books, watching science fiction movies. Most of all, he loved his family and being involved with them and spending time with their activities.
Mr. Reynolds is survived by the love of his life, Dee Reynolds of Chapel Hill, TN; children, Brandy Nicole Reynolds Holcomb of Dickson, TN, Summer Leigh Reynolds McCurdy of Chapel Hill, TN; 5 grandchildren, Brooklyn Paige Null, Deavanah Hailey Null, Alexavia Nevaeh Cunningham, Jeremy AlanZander McCurdy, Jaxon Airik McCurdy; 1 great grandchild, Zailynn Marie Jones.
Visitation with the family will be on Saturday, July 26, 2025 from 11 AM-12 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 12 PM on Saturday, July 26, 2025 from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Jamie Pratt officiating.
