Ms. Jo Ann Boyd, age 70, of the Caney Spring Community of Chapel Hill, TN, died Saturday, May 17, 2014. Ms. Boyd was born in Washtenaw, Michigan and was a daughter of the late Ralph Parks and Ethel Mae Walker Boyd. She was a retired employee of Square D Corporation of Smyrna, Tennessee and was an avid Tennessee Vols fan and enjoyed all Vols sports. In addition to her parents, Jo Ann was preceded in death by a son, Boyd Bissinger.
Ms. Boyd is survived by children, Laveta Houston, Portland, TX, Dawn Bissinger, Caney Spring Community of Chapel Hill, Dwayne Green, Thompson Station, TN; brothers, Butch Boyd, Portland, TX, R. P. Boyd, Spring Hill, TN; grandchildren Kullum and Kain Houston, Tanner Foster, Makayla Cepparulo, Bentleigh Bissinger; ex-husband, Jerry Mayfield; several nieces and nephews.
No visitation or funeral services are planned at this time. .
