Joe Carlton Sr

Mr. Joe Frank Carlton, Sr. age 83 of Eagleville, TN, died Tuesday, February 15, 2022. Born in Nashville, TN, Mr. Carlton was the son of the late Samuel Richard Carlton and Margie Elizabeth Crick Carlton. He was a retired Furnace Control Operator for the former Ford Glass Plant in Nashville. Mr. Carlton was a member of the Rockvale Church of God. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Juanita Shaffer Carlton and a son, Richard Anthony Carlton, Sr.

Survivors are a son, Joe Frank (Cynthia Lynn) Carlton, Jr. of Eagleville, TN; 4 grandchildren, Kristy Dawn (Stephen) Stingley of Eagleville, TN, Richard Anthony (Michelle) Carlton, Jr., Tiffany Lynn Carlton of Eagleville, TN, Kyle Jacob (Shelby) Carlton of Eagleville, TN; 8 great-grandchildren, Damian and Paxtin Stingley, Avery and Ruby Carlton, Hunter Ledwell and Brinley, Gatlin and Dawson Carlton.

Visitation with the family will be Friday, February 18, 2022 from 5pm – 8pm at Lawrence Funeral Home. The Funeral Service wil be at 2pm, Saturday, February 19, 2022 from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Carlton Cemetery in Rutherford Co.
