Joe Claiborne, Jr

Mr. Joe Melvin Claiborne, Jr., age 96, of Nashville, died Sat., Aug. 9, 2014. A native of Marshall Co., Mr. Claiborne was a son of the late Joe M. Claiborne, Sr and Eva Lee Hopper Claiborne. Mr. Claiborne was a retired truck driver with Time – D.C. Freight Co. He was also a veteran of World War II having served in the United States Army.
Survivors include 4 nephews.
No visitation or services are planned. Interment will be at 1PM, Mon., Aug. 11, 2014 at Hopper Cemetery near Chapel Hill.
