John William Greer III

Mr. John William Greer, age 77, of the Laws Hill Community, died Sunday, June 8, 2025. Born in Franklin,TN, John was the son of the late John William Greer, Jr. and Florence Lucille Taylor Greer. He was a Maintenance Technician with Walmart as well as working as a roofer for many years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Greer Vance and a step-son, Christopher Alan Plemons.

Survived by his wife of 41 years, Deborah Wray Greer; a daughter, Johnna Lindsey (Joshua) Heithcock; a son, David (Teri) Brandon Greer; 7 grandchildren, Colton Hunter Pruitt, Braden Christopher Pruitt, John Carter Pruitt, Presley Monique Heithcock, Fletcher James Greer, Emerson Ann Greer and Lincoln William Greer.

In accordance to Mr. Greer’s wishes there will be no services scheduled at this time.
