Mr. John Lewis Shearer, Sr., age 56, of Chapel Hill, TN passed away Saturday, November 8, 2014 in Chapel Hill, TN. He was born in Albany, GA to the late Clifford and Dollie Bolton Shearer. Mr. Shearer served his country in the United States Army and was self-employed as a painter.
Mr. Shearer is survived by his wife of 25 years, Sara Raye Willis Shearer of Chapel Hill, TN; a son, John Lewis Shearer, Jr. of Valdosta, GA; a step-daughter, Manda Justiss of Chapel Hill; three grandchildren, Amber Bodrey, Kevan Justiss, and Shenna Justiss all of Chapel Hill, TN; and one great-grandchild, Ryan Bodrey of Chapel Hill, TN.
