Joshua Woody

Joshua R. Woody, age 15, of the Caney Spring community of Marshall Co., died Mon., Jan. 20, 2014. A native of Chico, CA, Joshua was the son of Todd Adam Smith and Tracy Woody Smith. He was a 7th grader at Forrest School and also had attended Chapel Hill Elementary School. Joshua was always happy and was indeed a free spirit. One of his greatest enjoyments was participating in the annual Chapel Hill Christmas Parade. Survived by his parents, Todd and Tracy Smith of the Caney Spring community; a brother, Nicholas Adam Smith of Caney Spring; grandparents, George and Bernadine Beekman of Caney Spring; several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. A Memorial Service will be conducted at 7PM, Sat., Feb. 8, 2014 from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5PM – 7PM on Sat., Feb. 8, 2014.
